A practical workshop covering all the HR areas that line managers have responsibility for in their day to day work. This course will give managers the knowledge and skills to deal confidently with HR and employment law issues. The course will be very interactive focusing on the practical application of the organisation’s key HR policies.
What does it cover?
The course will be designed around the organisation’s HR policies and preferences and can cover any of the following areas.

What will I learn?
By the end of the workshop, managers will be able to
- Understand their role within the organisation’s HR policies
- Implement the organisation’s HR procedures with confidence
- Identify when to act to avoid situations escalating unnecessarily
- Avoid legal pitfalls when dealing with staff HR issues
- Recognise what aspects they can and should deal with alone and when they should request the support of HR.
